Hmm…. I never know what to say about myself so I’ll just throw some stuff out there and see if it sticks. I’m a former attorney who discovered fiction writing quite by accident. It was never my intention to write a novel, yet here I am doing just that. Actually it was never my intention to practice law either, but I’ve always been pretty good at walking through open doors whenever they seem to present themselves.

I am also a returning runner. No open doors there. Just me hitting the road or the treadmill on a regular basis, and trying to get back into shape. So far, so good. I’m halfway to my goal weight and I have vowed to do whatever is necessary to lose the rest this year. (God help me.)

I live in the Midwest with my constantly-traveling husband and my five-year-old, Disney-princess-loving daughter.

When I’m not busy with all of the above, I like to spend my time gardening and cooking. I wish I could tell you that I’m good at these things, but I’m really not. They say “practice makes perfect.” Yeah – I’m pretty sure they haven’t met me.
